Leprosy is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide, with 60% of the cases concentrated in India. Although the World Health Organization is taking steps to eliminate the disease, the Indian government is not doing much for these people who are considered the bottom rung of society. Lepers are unable to get jobs, often having to beg for money to survive.
